$3,500
The fee credits in full toward Build the Foundation or Design the Product, booked within 60 days. How the credit works.
If your project doesn't line up with one of these, or you're still working out the scope, tell me what you're building. We'll find the right shape together, or scope something custom.
A short form about your product and the problem in front of you. Ten minutes, no meeting.
2
Get a scope and a price
Within 2 business days, a written scope, a fixed price, and a start date. If you'd rather talk it through first, a 30-minute call is there for the asking.
3
Watch it come together
Async build: working files, written rationale, recorded walkthroughs, and a short written update every week — and on the larger packages, a quick weekly check-in call when it helps.
4
Take it and ship
Handoff with documentation, and a structured revision round included in every package.

Why it works this way
Scope you can see
The price and the finish line are in writing before any work begins.
You always know where it stands
Working files, written rationale, recorded walkthroughs, and a short written update every week. Progress never waits on a calendar.
Senior hands only
I keep the project load light by design, so every hour of your work gets the same senior attention, first sketch to handoff. No juniors, no handoffs.
Built to last
Everything ships with the tokens, docs, and pipelines your team needs to maintain it.
05
Who you're working with
I've spent 14 years designing products and the systems underneath them. I was the founding designer at ReflexAI, and I led design for a new scenario-planning product at Tableau. Since then I've focused on building design systems, scaling early products, and leading 0→1 product design.
You work with me directly on every project. No juniors, no outsourcing, no handoffs between people you've never met.

Reserved for an engineer's words on the handoff and docs.

Good questions
The things worth knowing before we start. Still curious about something? Add it to your project note and I'll answer.
How will I know where things stand?+
Working files, written rationale, recorded walkthroughs, and a weekly written update: what's done, what's next, and what I need from you. Calls happen whenever they'd genuinely help.
Will this fit our stack?+
It's standards-based: DTCG tokens, Style Dictionary outputs to whatever platforms you ship, plain CSS variables if that's your stack. Your engineers see the pipeline before handoff, and the docs are written for them.
What if my project doesn't fit one of these?+
Get in touch anyway. Scoping is free, and if it isn't a fit I'll say so honestly rather than stretch one to fit.
What do you need from me to start?+
Access to what the work touches: your Figma, your brand assets, and for most packages your codebase, view-only or a copy is fine. A decision-maker who can respond within a day, and a path to the right people on your team, design or engineering, when questions come up. Your scope doc will list exactly what's needed before anything starts.
How do you work with our team?+
Quietly and in writing, mostly. Questions collect in a shared doc instead of meetings, your engineers see the pipeline and docs before handoff, and everything ships under your conventions and governance. On the larger packages, a short weekly check-in keeps decisions moving.
How do revisions work?+
Every project includes one structured revision round, with its scope written into the agreement so there are no surprises. What a round includes.
Who does the work?+
One senior designer: me, John Livornese. Fourteen years across startups and enterprise, founding designer at ReflexAI, led design for a new scenario-planning product at Tableau. No juniors, no outsourcing, no handoffs.
Do you work with agencies?+
Yes, white-label. The same projects, delivered under your name, and your client relationship stays yours. Just mention it when you reach out.
